Sometimes, I do miss Film School. I think about it from time to time. The most rewarding thing about Film School, I believe, is the friends you make along the way. There is a lot of drama, of course, but in the end, you are part of a team. Whether your professor wants you to work on a film project or a screenplay as a team, you become rewarded with something more than just education: you are rewarded interpersonal knowledge of other people, and, eventually, many of these people become your friends.
I could tell you about film angles, film lenses, the 180 degree rule, the different terminologies used in Film School, but none of that meant more than the friends I made along the way.
